Hello, my name Is Alison, however most people will know me as Ali Pali! I am the manager/owner at Autumn Cottage Childcare.

I have worked in the childcare industry for over 20 years, and I have a Level 3 in Childcare. I love using natural resources and loose parts to inspire awe and wonder in children’s learning. 

I have done a variety of different Nannying roles and briefly worked in a summer holiday club in Portugal. Portugal has a very special place in my heart because my family live there.

I live on my own home with my dog called Lola. In my spare time I enjoy being part of an amateur dramatics group where I assist with the make up, hair and costumes. I am also a volunteer on the committee for the Eversley Village Hall, where I am the Social secretary, I have arranged many social events to help raise funds for the village hall, my favourite event to date is the pig racing!

Nursery Room Leader

Hello, I’m Sophie and I am the Nursery Room Leader at Autumn Cottage. I have worked here for 9 years, however I am currently on maternity leave looking after my own baby! I look forward to returning to the team in summer 2023!

I have a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education as well as recently completing ‘The Sleep Charity’s’ foundation sleep workshop, which allows me to give knowledge and advice about children’s sleep routines to our families.

I am passionate about my role and ensuring that our 0-2’s at Autumn Cottage have to best start in life and plenty of opportunities to play, explore and learn!

I enjoy going on holiday, long walks with my cheeky sausage dog and spending time with my family. I also enjoy hiking and have set myself a goal to climb Snowdon next year!

Hello my name is Sandra , I have lived in Eversley for 12 years and have 3 children and 3 granddaughters.

I worked as an Executive Assistant for 15 years before taking some time off to have my youngest child.

I am a Parish Councillor and a School Governor, and I recently joined the Autumn Cottage team as their Finance and Admin support.

Manager

Hello, my name is Kelly, I am the Nursery Manager of Autumn Cottage Childcare. I have worked in the Childcare industry since completing my level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2005, spending the majority of my working life as Assistant Manager in a large day nursery. Throughout my professional career I have attended training and accomplished various additional child development and educational qualifications. One of my proudest achievements was qualifying as an A1 Assessor. This has given me the opportunity to support learners training for a qualification in childcare, I have seen 24 of candidates through the process thus far and hope to train others in future. I recently left my long-standing post of 15 years at a nursery in Fleet to join the wonderful team here at Autumn Cottage Childcare in May 2021.

I have an endless passion and energy for my role as leader working to support staff skills and children of all ages to meet their full learning potential. I am devoted to building great relationships with our children and their families, embedding a culture of inclusion and valuing the essence of family partnerships as integral in a child’s developmental progress. 

I am the supporting SENCo in the setting. This role is especially important to me and dear to my heart, during my career I was named Lead SENCo for a 14-year term in my previous setting. During which time, I have supported numerous specific needs of many children, helping them to thrive and get ready for the next steps on their educational journey.

I currently live in the village, and have done so since I was 3, I actually attended this very preschool and the school next door! I have been fortunate enough to be blessed with five boys of my own (Including twins!), who all attended the preschool here. Being a working parent has helped me have an insight into the daily challenges faced when juggling small children and work commitments; an invaluable lesson in advising those around me.

I feel privileged and honoured to be able to share in so many children’s smiles, and to have held so many little hands throughout their challenges and achievements. I look forward to meeting you soon and welcoming you to the Autumn Cottage Family.
